Create the pen your self with this package and your lathe. This new pen is an ideal "in between" measurement. Smaller than the basic American-fashion pens, however bigger and simpler to grip than the slim-type pens. This straightforward-to-flip package doesn"t require any parting or tenons for the middle ring. Double twist mechanism turns left or proper to increase the ball level, flip to middle to retract. To finish a pen, additionally, you will want a three/four" x three/four" x 5" clean, letter "O" bit, bushings and mandrel, bought individually. Gold end.

214 - Power-Sculpted Contemplation Bench

Video - February 18, 2014 History Back in the early days of my woodworking, I was heavily influenced by a show called Woodworks. The host, David Marks, would frequently engage in a process that was very new to me at the time: power-sculpting (aka power carving). I was so excited by this process that I drove all the way up to Santa Rosa to learn the technique from the man himself. So what you see in this video is largely inspired by the work of David Marks. Once I returned home from Santa Rosa, I set out to create a simple sitting bench that would incorporate this carving technique.
